Academic profile
Dr. Yuval Oded is a psychologist with a doctorate and over three decades of clinical experience in psychotherapy and applied psychophysiology. He holds a Ph.D. in Psychology, a Master's degree in Clinical Rehabilitation Psychology, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Psychology.
His clinical work focuses in particular on the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety disorders, and somatoform disorders. He combines psychotherapeutic methods with psychophysiological approaches to promote self-regulation and stress management.
Specialist areas
Dr. Oded's work combines clinical psychology with modern applied psychophysiology. In his therapeutic practice, he integrates methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), biofeedback, Neurofeedback and mindfulness techniques to enable patients to receive comprehensive and holistic treatment.
A particular focus of his work is on stress regulation, emotional self-regulation, and the application of psychophysiological methods to improve performance and promote resilience.
Professional Activity and Leadership
Dr. Oded was chairman of the Israeli Applied Psychophysiology Association and is currently co-chairman of the Israeli Biofeedback Association.Neurofeedback Organization (IBNA). In addition, he is a member of the “Learn From The Best” team and the program committee of the Biofeedback Foundation of Europe (BFE).
He is the founder and CEO of Psy-Phi Advanced Psychological Solutions, where he developed the MentalGym™ program – an innovative stress management and peak performance program.Training for elite military units and leaders.
Previously, he headed the clinical psychophysiological clinic at Schneider Children's Hospital, where he combined modern psychophysiological methods with classical therapeutic approaches.
Research and innovation
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Oded is heavily involved in research and technological development. He is a co-developer of the clinical biofeedback software Alive and the stress management system Ifeelwell (device and app).
As a Research Fellow at the Psychotherapy Lab of the University of Haifa, he has published numerous scientific articles on the psychophysiology of stress. In total, he has published twelve peer-reviewed scientific articles, making important contributions to the understanding of the physiological basis of stress and self-regulation.
